  ⚠️ DO NOT STAY HERE — INFESTED, FILTHY, AND COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE ⚠️

  Disliked: I’m writing this to warn anyone considering this place — do not make the same mistake I did. I booked 3 nights here, and the moment I arrived, I was horrified to find multiple types of large insects crawling everywhere — inside the bed, under the pillows, between the bed covers, inside the kettle, and even on the ceiling. It was absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable. The place was clearly never cleaned properly, and it’s shocking that it’s still listed for guests. Within minutes, I had to book another hotel as an emergency and leave immediately — there was no way I could spend even one night there. When I contacted the owner, he wasn’t even apologetic. Instead, he tried to justify the infestation, saying it was normal to have insects in such a place. That kind of attitude is completely unacceptable. He then offered to move me to another house, but after what I saw, I completely refused — I couldn’t trust him at all. This property should be reported, inspected, and removed from all booking platforms until it meets basic hygiene standards. Please, do not risk staying here — it will ruin your trip.

  Good

  Liked: View, comfortable bed, clean, good shower, nice coffee and linen/towels very handy. Host was super helpful, on hand to answer questions, really kind and supportive. Locals were super lovely.

  Disliked: Easier to access with a car. Shared space isn't really a living room, small kitchen and dining area on another floor. Neighbouring Cockerells not sure when sun up was....rather noisy and can't keep doors or windows open because of hard back flying somethings.

  it's was a nice location without the rashes i would have recommended them

  Liked: the location was wonderful and very near to manarola (8mins with car and there is a bus that goes to manarola frequently)

  Disliked: every one of us had some rashes which we were not sure if it was due to bedbugs and when mentioned they said it may be due to mosquito bites and i felt that the response could have been better.

  Nice and peaceful

  Liked: The apartment is very clean and the pictures do justice. We got directions all the way to the apartment through videos and messages which was very nice. Very peaceful and a beautiful view. The location is about 30 min walk from manarola which is perfect.

  Disliked: I wish there was a parking marked for guests as there are not many and it's easy to park wrong to get fined

  Unique stay in quiet part of Cinque Terre

  Liked: Accommodation was in a beautiful area (Groppo) with lovely Mountain View’s enjoyed by sitting on the balcony. The accommodation was spotlessly clean. Host was kind, attentive and helpful. Instructions on getting to apartment were very clear. The accommodation is accessible by the local bus where the cheaper tickets can be purchased at the train station. The Cinque Terre Card will also cover bus trip to the accommodation.

  Disliked: Our apartment had 3 levels with a bedroom and bathroom on two upper levels. We had an extended stay of 6 nights so we missed not having a lounge or sitting area to relax. Host is in the process of registering for its guests to get access to discounted rates for the Cinque Terre card - which I understand is in the process of being rolled out to all hosts.
