Exceptional
Absolutely perfect in every way… accommodation, views, location, hosts
Liked: We had an amazing time at this accommodation. The room was spectacular, being of trullo origin but with all modern facilities. We loved the outside space and stunning views, a perfect spot to relax with a book and a glass of wine. Only a 10 minute walk to the old town, with various routes depending on your circumstances. A special mention has to go to the owners who were incredibly friendly and helpful. Mimmo went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We stayed for 5 nights and could easily of stayed longer…would highly recommend.

Liked: A beautiful trulli with fantastic views across the valley. Calm and peaceful setting just outside Martina Franca. Staying here was like being in some kind of fairy tale - magical! Mimmo was kind and knowledgable, sharing maps and other local information. He also left home baked biscotti (delicious) and brought us freshly picked pomegranate and persimmon from the garden. Lovely walks to Locorotondo and Cisternino from the property, and Martina Franca is a very nice town with interesting (free) exhibitions at Palazzo Ducale.
Disliked: It was a little cold at night for me (my partner was fine though…) so it may be useful to have a blanket available.
Close to town with fab views of Valle d’Itria
Liked: We had a wonderful stay at Terrazze Sulla Valle. The room was on the edge of Martina Franca, quiet and very clean with off street private parking. The room itself was well appointed and spotless, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Mimmo was an excellent host: friendly, helpful, and full of great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. Homemade cookies were delicious! The outside seating area was a highlight, with lovely views over to Locorotondo and Cisternino – perfect for sitting out in the evening with a glass of wine. Martina Franca’s old town is vibrant and easy to explore from here, with plenty of good places to eat and drink. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a peaceful base with a personal touch and beautiful views in the Valle d’Itria.
