Guest reviews
Very good
Liked: Great location to train station
Disliked: Property is old and should not be a 4 star. A solid 3 star. No safe in the room, undersized TV, and everything was old plus the light control was held up by scotch tape. Oh yea the main bedroom lighting was unacceptable, just 1 floor lamp and nightstand light to illuminate the room.
Lovely little hotel
Liked: Close to the train station, with a big room
Disliked: The room was quite dated, although the bathroom looked like it had been updated. Limited power outlets to charge devices
Clean, comfortable and quiet
Liked: Easy location..close to bus, train and ferry’s. Got upgraded to a triple room 😃 Housekeeping was great. Nice big lifts..an older hotel with plenty of character and class.
Disliked: Nothing not to like 😃
Good location, dated hotel
Liked: It is a convenient location close to Messina Port. 24 hour front desk for late ferry arrivals or departures. Staff were nice. Close to the shopping district of Messina and to cafes in the morning.
Disliked: The rooms are very dated and the walls are very thin. Pillows and beds could use a refresh.
Disappointing
Liked: Location is good, bed was comfortable.
Disliked: 5th floor, no phone/reception contact, no towels, tiny shower, dreadful wifi, poor staff attitude, electricity went out continuously on the second night. Dismissive staff after going fown 5 flights of stairs to report it on the 3rd outage. Liquid on the 5th floor hallway floor all night - hopefully a spilled drink!Disappointing. A shame really as it is centally located abd i like Messina.
Liked: Well located to train station and centre. Comfortable and welcoming.
