  Great location, nice hotel

  Liked: Good breakfast

  Disliked: Required us to carry luggage upstairs, a long way up. Beds and bed sheets were marginal at best. Two single beds side-by-side with a bedsheet that didn't stay in place. Nobody was ever present to check in (key on the counter) or anytime after.

  Wouldn’t recommend

  Liked: The location was perfect for what I needed…very close to the marina for ferry service to the islands. The room was quite beautiful and spacious. It has a huge covered patio and a good size shower.

  Disliked: Unfortunately, there were also quite a few drawbacks. First, there is no parking onsite or even very nearby. The closest overnight lot I found was a 10 minute walk, which is not easy with luggage in tow. Check-in was easy, but there were no staff to be found anywhere, and when I tried to reach them to inquire about an early check in, I got no reply. I also got no reply when I reached out about the AC not working. There was no instructions left for how to reach someone, or information about where and when breakfast would be served. If it was not already late and I had not been exhausted, I would have found somewhere else closer to parking and with working AC. Oh and the final nail in the coffin for this place was that there was no breakfast or even coffee, though the booking was supposed to include it.

  Clean hotel room in convenient location close to port

  Liked: The location is very convenient if you are travelling to the Aeolian Islands, as the property is right by the port. The rooms are quite basic but very clean. The host did allow us to leave our luggage as we were returning for another night, and also let us have some flexibility with check-out which we appreciated.

  Disliked: There wasn’t really a proper check-in process — it was essentially just a post-it note with our name on it and the keys, with little explanation of the hotel layout, so unfortunately we missed out on the breakfast that was included because we didn’t know that breakfast is served on the roof terrace. The rooms themselves felt quite tired and in need of redecoration.

  A very good place if you are taking the ferry to the Eolian Islands

  Liked: Breakfast was good, but we weren't told that the breakfast was served on the roof. There was nobody at the reception when we arrived. Just my name, room number, and key were on the front desk.

  Disliked: I would have liked to be informed that the breakfast was served on the roof. On our floor, there were tables and a counter, so we assumed breakfast would be served there.
