Exceptional
Pleasant room with bath not deluxe suite with hot tub
Liked: The views were beautiful, apart from the bath the room was very clean. It was a pretty hotel with some nice features. The castle nearby is a must to visit.
Disliked: Our room should not have been described as a deluxe suite with hot tub, it was in-fact a room with a tired spa bath. There was a large window in the bathroom which overlooked the room from the bath, the blind didn’t work so anybody having a shower was in full view of guests in the room, not ideal as we were staying with our 10 yr old son but this also caused an issue at night as with the blind not working there were lights from the outside beaming through into the room. Also the car park situated out of the front of the room is the local hang out for youngsters on motorbikes, very noisy into the early hours. As I said the views were beautiful but the beach was dirty, lots of rubbish and dead rats. Breakfast was ok but more of a continental offering as anything cooked was extra. I also faced a charge of tax when checking out apparently every guest had to pay to visit the country which came as a surprise plus we were charged for a few extra drinks we did not have despite paying for everything as we went through the week.
An exceptional hidden gem on a beautiful bay
Liked: Everything was next level! The room, the food, the friendliness of the staff.
Disliked: Nothing
Magical, calm, luxury!
Liked: Just gorgeous the best views you could imagine, a nice quiet break between Palermo and Taormina. Rooms were spectacular!
Disliked: Could not fault a thing
We had a mix of positive experiences and some disappointments during our stay
Liked: We had a mix of positive experiences and some disappointments during our stay. Pros: The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and very inviting. The staff was truly exceptional—friendly, helpful, and willing to go above and beyond. They even assisted us in arranging a wonderful boat excursion, which was a highlight of our trip. The location is also a major plus, with a gorgeous beach just across the street featuring calm, crystal-clear water. One of the standout experiences was sunset dining on the rooftop—absolutely spectacular and a perfect way to end the day.
Disliked: Cons: Unfortunately, several advertised amenities were not available when we arrived on June 3rd. The restaurant, hot tub, and in-room refrigerator were not functioning. While the hot tub began working the following week, it was only accessible until 5 PM, and the refrigerator was never repaired during our stay. Basic room amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were also missing. At full summer pricing, we expected all facilities to be fully operational. The location, while convenient, comes with notable noise. Being at the end of a public strip near beach clubs and nightlife resulted in constant traffic noise—motorcycles and loud music—throughout the night. There were also groups gathering on the beach into the early morning hours, which made it difficult to get uninterrupted rest. Parking was another challenge. There are only a handful of public spots in front of the hotel, which fill up quickly. While the hotel offers paid parking, it would feel more appropriate for this to be included given the room rates and limited availability nearby. Overall: The hotel has a lot of potential thanks to its beautiful design, excellent staff, and prime beachfront access. However, the lack of available amenities and ongoing noise issues significantly impacted our overall experience.
Great staff and location
Liked: The location and the facilities are great! Staff is lovely and friendly! The best staff!
Disliked: The quality of the breakfast is excellent but I would have a bit more choice.
Great first hop on Silicy trip, nicest hotel of our trip
Liked: View on the sea, available public parking (in May), restaurant, facilities (nice garden + pool), helpful staff
Disliked: Toilet paper, pillows
