Exceptional
Good accommodation, great location, but breakfast 800 metres walk from the property
Liked: Unique boutique hotel, well located, large well appointed rooms.
Disliked: The payment included “an exceptional breakfast”, however this was to be found 800 metres away from the property in a noisy coffee shop (lots of motor scooters roaring past) and was basic. If they are going to do this, there are good coffee shops much closer to the property. I am afraid the photos of the dining table do not mean, as we thought it did, that you eat breakfast on the premises.
Great location in the heart of Modica, and comfortable room, but a few things could be improved
Liked: Great location, perfect to visit the old town of Modica, and plenty of nice bars and restaurants nearby. The room was very comfortable, and the B&B setting is very nice.
Disliked: The common areas outside were not clean. The B&B has a lovely terrace overlooking the old town, but we could not sit down because all the tables and chairs were dirty, it’s a pity. The breakfast is at a nearby cafe, which is not an issue in itself (and we knew in advance), but the budget per person is €5.50, which barely covers one coffee and croissant.
A fantastic second stay at Edel Modica
Liked: The picturesque location, the wonderful Andrea and Giada, the gorgeous gardens. It is also very dog friendly.

A stylish corner of the old Sicily
Liked: The property is a jewel in the heart of the old town of Modica. The host Marco is extremely kind and helpful and he’s available 24/7. We have appreciated the welcome at our arrival and the nice gift of a champagne bottle.
