Exceptional
Delightful country accommodation for someone with a car
Liked: The house is in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood. You are certainly "in the country" with fresh air and local farms. Giovanni is a nice, friendly host who offered help where ever he could. He gave us a litre of beautiful local white wine. Giovanni also suggested we pick whatever we wanted from the vegetable garden and we made broccoli and fresh garden salad with herbs. As we loved the wine Giovanni presented us with a litre of red wine. A nice touch. The rooms were very clean.
Disliked: Firstly, we booked a room with a kitchen. As the kitchen was supposed to have a stovetop, coffee-maker, kettle and dining area we expected a proper kitchen. The stove top was a 3 burner portable gas burner attached to a gas bottle. There was no coffee-maker or electric kettle and the kitchen was very small with a small table. There was an assortment of a few odd plates and cups and a bit of cutlery with lots of plastic ones. Giovanni said if we needed anything more to ask. Perhaps he could have supplied more variety. That's OK, but it was written up as a well set up kitchen. We asked about the BBQ as there was one in the picture, and Giovanni said if we wanted to buy coals we could use it.

Liked: Really nice, friendly and welcoming private host. Let us feel more like friends than guests. Many thanks to host us. Unfortunable the wlan does not reach to the room. On the terrace you will find a good internet connection.
Exceptional
Liked: Location is perfect to visit both ragusa and modica, yet immersed in nature. I loved all the cats he had in the gardens!
