Exceptional
High quality accommodation and kind host
Liked: Great location, great bathroom, good wifi, really quiet due to good soundproofing, very comfortable and clean. Sonia spent a lot of time with us and wanted us to feel at home. We booked the quadruple room which was very spacious with a balcony and direct access to the terrace. We used the washing machine. Thank you Sonia for the memorable stay.
Comfortable, close to amenities, and excellent hosts
Liked: This was a beautiful, quiet stay. Kind and thoughtful host and a fantastic location. Close to all things within walking distance. We especially enjoyed the courtyard with lemon trees and outdoor space and light. We hope to return on our next visit!
Disliked: Not a single complaint!
Perfect location, lovely host
Liked: Location, Sonia was a lovely host, terrace was nice, and the bath/room had a night light via the shower which is a very convenient touch. We tasted pomegranate from Sonia’s garde, was delicious. Perfect beds.
Disliked: Kitchen was basic, it was clearly aimed for people who eat out for breakfast/lunch/dinner and maybe grab a coffee.
Great apartment, even better host
Liked: Very good location near the main street, but just enough removed, so the noise is not a problem. Great communication with the host. Sonia is very nice, always available and helps with the information. She personally took us to the bus station when no taxis were available (which she called for us). We also got a free room upgrade. The terrace in our room was huge.
Disliked: Maybe a little bad noise isolation, but nothing too disturbing. As mentioned, the apartment is a little removed from the main street so not much noise comes in anyway.
Favorite stay in Sicily during our cycling holiday
Liked: Stayed here with friends on a cycling holiday through southern Sicily. Was our favorite stay! The host was so lovely and communicative. Great shower, lovely terrace, spacious rooms, really comfortable beds, and excellent location. Bonus for us that there was a washing machine for laundry and a garage to park our bikes. It was an amazing stay and would certainly stay here again next time we come back to Modica!
Disliked: Only slight downside is the air conditioning wasn’t super strong - we’re American so take that feedback with a grain of salt.
