Very good
Great view but needs a revamp
Liked: The hotel has a stunning view. From the terrace you are overlooking the vineyards and hills of the wine region. The staff was super friendly and helpful and also patient with us as we did not speak Italian and they did not speak English. There is enough parking space and cities like Alba and Asti are quite close by car. The hotel is clean.
Disliked: The facilities are a little outdated. We had to change our room twice before we found one where the aircon was working. Overall there was a feeling of nostalgia and being put back into the 80ies. We tried the restaurant and found it a bit average compared to what the region has to offer. Quality/Price ratio is not favourable here. The pool is in real life smaller than what appears in the photos.

Nice stay but not adapted for our needs of baby and dogs
Liked: The scenery and setting was lovely very beautiful to take it. Very nicely decorated the outdoor area, pool, the dining areas, breakfast buffet was very generous and varied. Easygoing access all areas undisturbed.
Disliked: Sadly the room we were given was not what was expected also with a baby it was a problem as the main door let in daylight so our baby had a very hard time with naps and night sleeps. Perhaps our room wasn't used very much but the bedroom curtain pole was dangerously hanging off loose screws, behind the sink were bits of shaved hair. The fridge was leaking water inside so things got wet. For out purpose the room was small eith baby and two dogs and yes we were given option to change few days in but impractical with strep stairs with a baby and pram. Given the season perhaps more could be done to try to trap the wasps during mealtimes. We didn't see any traps for the purpose. Shame as other dinners also had issues with this. Meals also was complicated as a breastfeeding mother I need to eat several times a day and sadly being in middle of nowhere and ferragosto I didn't get enough in me for baby so she too was hungry more and I could not keep up. Would be nice to have a fruit platter on the bar menu for the day maybe or something else. Water in the room also to be given daily would be great especially with the heat we had.
Liked: Lovely atmosphere, breakfast, staff, poolside, location and owners. Luxury in all ways.
