Absolutely cannot recommend. Appalling communication and total lack of customer focus
Liked: Cannot comment as I never saw the specific suite I booked.
Disliked: Was checked into a completely different property into a 20sqm room which was £45 per night cheaper, when I had booked a 38sqm suite. There was no explanation offered - we were just shown to the room. Only offered a discount when we complained. Owner suddenly stopped being able to speak English when a full refund was requested. Left and stayed elsewhere.
Liked: Fantastic historic building, great staff, well located for town and a good breakfast.
Disliked: Spiral staircase to the room with a sea view! A very minor issue. It's an historical building and can't be helped.

Liked: Our stay was absolutely amazing, location was incredible with a view of the Adriatic Ocean, rooms were very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the beautiful courtyard while having breakfast which there was a good variety. The host Remo was very friendly and accommodating. Parking was also very easy. Would go back.
Great choice for historic Ortona
Liked: Charming, old world atmosphere. Oldest structure in the city of Ortona. Extremely well-located. Major advantage: excellent, consistent air-conditioning, which is not the norm in Europe, and we were in town during a series of 90+ degrees days. Staff friendly and helpful. Overall, very good value. Walkable to most of central Ortona. Across from scenic Adriatic overlooks. Car or taxi ride to the Lido Riccio beaches.
Disliked: The continental breakfast offerings were unchanging from day-to-day, and variety would have been appreciated. Cabinet-style shower stall - small and one of the two sliding doors did not operate properly.
From our location to our hosts, we felt welcomed with open arms and it truly made our trip feel special!
Liked: This historic property is absolutely beautiful. We especially loved the courtyard and the surrounding gardens
