  Staying in a renovated trullo, close to Ostuni historical center

  Liked: The host, Valentina, was very helpful with everything. Good communication through WhatsApp. The trullo is very nicely renovated. And with the pool and the big garden, very relaxing. It is close to the historical city center. You can keep the car at the trullo and walk about 20 minutes. Valentina also provided many presents (local pastry, local pasta, sweets, bathroom supplies,...).

  Disliked: For tall people, the trullo can be painful to the head if you're not paying attention;) Due to some humidity in this old trullo, pill bugs were walking around in the evening in the rooms. Nevertheless, the trullo was very clean, and the pill bugs are harmless.

  Trullo is cute but has issues - too small for 5 people

  Liked: Beautiful setting and experience of staying in a Trullo Very responsive host Valentina

  Disliked: Rooms are extremely small. Room with ensuite has no space for bags (had to store under the bed) and no cupboard space for clothes Electricity did not work well at all when we were there - was told it was due to local power supply On first night we had no hot water - had to shower in dark and in cold water. The Trullo is not well designed to accommodate more than 4 people.

  Not as advertised

  Liked: The location was nice and handy to Ostuni. The BBQ was good.

  Disliked: The Trulli house was quaint, but it is not Luxury accommodation. It needed a deep clean. We moved to other accommodations early.

  Charming authentic Trullo - disappointing stay

  Liked: The Trullo is charming, beds were comfortable and the air con in the bedrooms welcome from the warm sun.

  Disliked: Location - the Trullo is located around 30 minute walk into Ostuni via an unlit narrow road. If walking care needs to be given and a torch is highly recommended. Access to the road that leads to the Trullo is via a large wooden gate - we had two days of rain that completely flooded this road, after the flood we had a muddy lake to contend with making access on foot impassable. We had to resort to taxis these cost €50 for a return 10 minute drive. The Trullo whilst the beds were comfortable there is very limited storage and the seating area needs new furniture as the chairs fall apart when moved. The TV doesn’t work and the WiFi is very limited. The kitchen is very rustic with very little room to prepare food. Externally was our biggest disappointment- please see photographs I have shared these with the owner ahead of this review as most of the outside area was unusable and not as advertised on booking.com. Disappointing stay after paying such a premium price.
