  Liked: Easy walking to the center of town. large room. clothes dryer rack outside the room was much appreciated after a long hike

  A nice hotel with good facilities well placed for a short visit to an interesting and historic town

  Liked: The room was compact but adequately furnished. Separate wet room with shower in addition to the bathroom was an added bonus. Buffet style breakfast provided a good choice of options with obliging staff serving hot drinks and toast to order. Free parking in the field opposite the hotel was a real benefit in a part of the world where parking can be a real nightmare. The location was good - a short walk into the old town, but far enough away not to be bothered by the coach loads of tourists arriving each day.

  Disliked: Arriving at the hotel at about 16.00 on a Friday afternoon, the foyer was packed and with hindsight I realise that these people had probably checked out and were waiting for transportation elsewhere. I took the precaution of booking a table in the restaurant for dinner in case it proved to be busy. It wasn't and both the bar and the restaurant can only be described as dead for the rest of the evening with no atmosphere or life at all. Fortunately Otranto has a wealth of bars and good quality restaurants and I guess if you are not part of a tour or a package, that's where you go. That's what we did.

  Fantastic choice

  Liked: We loved this hotel! The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, the property was so cool and interesting too with all the maritime artifacts which were tastefully displayed and incorporated in the decor, the location was perfect, breakfast delicious and parking easy and convenient.
