  Liked: We were made to feel very welcome. A lovely small family run hotel. It felt like home away from home. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean and it is clear the owners love and care for the place. I would definitely recommend it.

  Nice people, bit expensive for facilities on offer

  Liked: Quiet, near to private beach. Seemed to be owned/managed by a nice family.

  Disliked: A bit Spartan, room a little small, no parking. Breakfast not good at all - seriously rationed, you expect a buffet to have a fullness about it - this did not. And the hotel was clearly not busy - why do you always have to wait until check in time to access your room? Arrived 2pm as we told them we would, told room not ready until 3pm. Why not? The concept that every single room in the hotel is not ready until exactly the same time is bonkers.

  Liked: The location overlooks the sea and is a few minutes walk from the town center. It also is across the street from several quiet sandy coves. The owners were very nice an accommodating. Room was comfortable with no surprises.

  Overall, a big thumbs up from me. Great location, warm hospitality, and excellent value for a stay in Otranto

  Liked: We stayed at La Plancia for just one night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's an older hotel, but its fantastic location more than makes up for that. Situated in the quieter part of Otranto, it's right on the beach and only a short, scenic walk from the bustling historic centre. The hotel is family-run, and the owners and staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. We opted to add breakfast, which was excellent. There was a lovely selection of fresh cakes, juices, hams, cheeses, and other breakfast items. I also ordered scrambled eggs, which were freshly prepared for me. We chose one of the simpler rooms without a balcony, and it was perfectly adequate for our needs. As we spent most of our time exploring the area, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, a big thumbs up from me. Great location, warm hospitality, and excellent value for a stay in Otranto. Highly recommended. 👍🏻
