  Great place at a great value

  Liked: The location was so nice; the little bungalows are great and good value. The property is really lovely; it's family-owned, and they were all so friendly. Hats off to Carmen, who is keeping the place together. They offer dinners every night (for a fee). The pool is great too, so overall, it was a great experience. No shops around within walking distance, but very easy to drive to the centre; it's like 6 min drive. The beaches are also very close, and loads of eating options in the centre.

  Disliked: The place is a bit dated and would need an update eventually. Breakfast consists mostly of cakes, which is quite unusual if you are not into sweets in the morning. Also, there was an issue with the electricity and water on the first night/day that could have been handled better. No one approached us to apologise; we had to reach out to them, and they gave us water, and that's it. Maybe a compensation lunch or coffees or any other thing would have been welcomed if it came directly from them.

  Wonderful place in Nature with wonderful hosts

  Liked: I just absolutely loved my stay at La Carcara. The owners are so kind; so welcoming and authentic. It was incredible value for money too but the best part, for me, was feeling how nice the owners and the other guests are. It was so lovely to feel surrounded by nature. The breakfast cakes and coffee were EXCELLENT! Can't recommend enough. Thank you for making my stay so nice.

  Liked: A nice wooden chalet. Located in a group 8. It's very rural. Their is a lovely swimming pool. The family who own the complex are super friendly. The breakfast was amazing and we also had dinner one evening and it was great.

  Disliked: It is approximately 2km. From the beach but I would not walk it as you have to cross two roundabouts with no footpaths. It would be very dangerous.
