doesn't live up to expectations
Liked: Great location and close to everything
Disliked: We stayed for six nights. Water leakage: Water was leaking from the shower into the room. The only solution offered: extra towels on the floor. Poor hygiene: The shower was poorly cleaned, with visible mold on the edges. Poor-quality breakfast: The only redeeming features were the coffee (first cup) and juice. As a result, we chose to buy our own food (sandwiches and fruit).
Very nice host. Good stay
Liked: Good location. Parking is wherever you can find it. The host uses what’s app to communicate and will meet you at the door when you let her know you are there. Nice bed, towels and linens.
Disliked: Steep steps to 2nd floor. Not a location for people that have difficulties with stairs. Breakfast is offsite at a nice restaurant from 8.30 to 10 am. Coffee is in the room.

Misleading and disappointing – would not recommend

Disliked: We booked B-Welcome Rooms of Charme e Relax specifically because the listing advertised wellness facilities including spa lounge, steam room, open air bath and relax area – with the clear impression that these were included in the stay. However, once we arrived, we were told we could not access any of these unless we paid an extra €70 and made a prior reservation. This was not clearly stated in the listing, and it felt completely misleading. We had no intention of paying such a high extra fee for something that was presented as a key feature of the accommodation. The property may look nice in photos, but the experience was frustrating and overpriced for what we actually received. If we had known the wellness area was off-limits without a significant additional charge, we would have never booked this place. We raised this with Booking.com and only received a small credit, which doesn’t reflect the impact of this false advertising. Guests should be clearly informed of what is included and what is not – this listing failed to do that. If you’re booking this place expecting to enjoy the spa, be warned: it’s not included.
Liked: We loved our stay! Staff was very friendly. We loved the location and our rooftop terrace with hot tub was amazing. Would stay here again!
An ideal address for solo travelers seeking a comfy peaceful stay
Liked: I loved the location because it is in the center but in a side alley away from all hustle and bustle. Small but spacious room because of a high vault ceiling. Greta for solo travellers it might feel a bit small if you’re traveling in a couple. Lots of lovely details were put into interior design reflecting local art and what you will see on sale in small shops. Host is kind and helpful- she provides a list of local addresses for dinning and making your stay even more enjoyable. In the morning a breakfast awaits you 3min away in a local restaurant SanBe - with a choice or real breakfast not only coffee and an Italian pastry 🥐. Oh and I don’t have to rob a bank to pay for parking- I left the car for free in a parking behind the train station- only 10min walk away.
