Exceptional
Liked: Staff overwhelming. Constant WhatsApp messages from the beginning reminding us of our 10.00am eviction time from the apartment. Central location. Very cold at night in October but yet we had to listen instructions regarding aircon! Room was a bit tight for two people. Glad to leave it to be honest! We won't be coming back!

We loved Polignano a Mare but I honestly would not stay here again
Liked: The location was just steps away from the Adriatic Sea and was a great location from the center of town. Our host was terrific as she was very responsive to our messages and calls. Walking around town was very easy and we enjoyed the restaurants that were all close by our room.
Disliked: Alda was a great host! She was very responsive to calls and messages. The room is an historic building from the 14th century so if you book this location be prepared for a small room. Also, if you are taller than 5'7" be aware that you need to bend down when going up stairs and into your room. The air conditioning is not very strong and unfortunately, since its located in a popular and beautiful area, there is a lot of street noise and on weekends the bars play music until very late. Awesome! Travelers always appreciate informative reviews.
Liked: Textbook example of superhost! Alda made sure we made the most of our short stay, by safekeeping our luggage after check out, extending our parking spot, etc. We even got complementary wine in one of the retaurant recommendations, after telling the waiter she was our host! Location wise - you can't do better/closer than Alda's place (The terrace literarlly overlooks one of the best viewpoints). The other apartment in the building wasn't occupied so we got the terrace for ourselves, but even if it was, it's big enough in terms of privacy. One tip, pack lightly - you are in the middle of "old town", medieval staircase in the building isn't forgiving for heavy luggage). 10/10 - would definately recommend!
