  Disliked: Only the pool and outdoor area were pleasant. The “living room” is just an outdoor space with no AC. The “3 bedrooms” are really 2 + a tiny 6 m² windowless room (bed 120 cm) you must pass through to reach one bedroom – zero privacy. Kitchen is basic, villa much smaller than implied (70 m²). 🚨 Worst: cameras everywhere – even by the pool and outdoor living area – with the owner saying she can watch remotely. Not disclosed in the listing. Serious invasion of privacy. Would never have rented if we’d known.

  Liked: This villa was absolutely amazing. The pool was very clean and spacious, and there were also a ping pong table and a billiards table for entertainment. The kitchen was spotless and easy to use. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful. I would definitely love to stay here again the next time I visit.

  A fantastic outdoor pool and entertaining space for a group villa holiday near Polignano a Mare

  Liked: Villa Volare has an exceptional outdoor living space, dining area, BBQ, games, speaker and swimming pool, which is perfect for keeping a family entertained in the hot sunny weather in June 2025. Wifi was good, Aircon was good (2 of my key criteria!). The villa is next door to another with no other properties very close so it is very private and quiet. We walked across a field to have a meal at the nearby Taverna but for going anywhere else you needed a car/transport. Polignano a Mare is a 7 minute drive away. Tuk-tuk cost €20 for the non-drivers to get back after a night out. The busy main road is not suited to walking. We went to see the RedBull Cliffdiving and loved the whole experience as Polignano a Mare is a lovely quaint historic town. There is a young and very friendly stray tabby cat that the owners call Lili who spends time around the grounds hoping for food. She gave birth to 1 kitten while we were there on 27/06/2025, so if you are visiting in summer 2025 I hope you will be kind to them as they are very thin! Owners were responsive via WhatsAPP and lived 10 minutes away, so would happily come over if we needed help with anything. All in all we had a great holiday.

  Disliked: The photos of the villa on Booking give a very clear view of what you get. Generally everything was fine, if I was to be picky I'd say the kitchen work area is small and would benefit from a few more items like more knives for food prep and more than 1 chopping board. We suggested more than 2 cereal bowls would be useful. Bedroom furniture is sparse and 2 of the bedrooms are joined by a thin sliding door which I hadn't seen in the photos. No show-stoppers here but just to be aware of.

  A haven with a beautiful pool

  Liked: The owners who met us were so attentive and helpful. They gave advice on the booking.com messenger very quickly. The Villa is a quiet haven, the pool is beautiful and gardens well maintained. It's a wonderful place to stay with family or friends. There was wine and a whole box of snacks on arrival, water in the fridge and coffee by the machine. Please be advised a car would be essential. You will enjoy your stay at this lovely Villa.

  A wonderful Villa to stay at

  Liked: The pool and the facilities are wonderful. The air con is excellent throughout the property. The hosts went out of their way to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. They were very kind and helpful in every way.

  Disliked: You have to drive really to go anywhere as the walk to the nearest beaches and restaurants is along a quite main road for a short stretch. Not impossible to walk and there is a property (B&B and Restaurant) very close that will do take away pizza etc
