Exceptional
Disliked: To far from the city. The hotel deserve 2 star I don’t know how it’s 5 star. It looks like a resort not a hotel m. It looks like a bad resort not a good once. I was fooled don’t book this hotel like me by mistake. Do more research
Just wonderful!
Liked: The location is stunning and the staff here couldn't be more accommodating and friendly. We only had 3 nights here for our honeymoon but wished we could have stayed longer. Our private dining experience was exceptional, the food was amazing and the views, out of this world. The location was perfect for us, so peaceful but Positano so easily accessible. The hotel run a courtesy shuttle every hour which we made use of when we'd have enough of the steps 😊. The breakfast was also ample and the live music, a lovely touch. You can access the Remesse beach club via the funicular, again, gorgeous views, lovely food and so peaceful. We really loved our stay and appreciated the complimentary champagne for our honeymoon. It was truly memorable for us. Thank you.
Disliked: Only the prices of the drinks in the bar but to be expected for a hotel of this rating in such a desirable location.

Liked: Excellent location, great views, wonderful service, and the private funicular and regular shuttle service to/from Positano town centre were an unexpected bonus - neither was mentioned on the booking site (other than that it did say there was a lift to the private beach).
Disliked: No complaints.
Must do better
Liked: The front desk staff were really first rate and very helpful. The room described as a suite but a junior one at best was lovely with spectacular views over the sea and Positano.
Disliked: Whoever had designed the room had obviously never stayed in it. The Bathroom had a spectacular shower with variable lighting but there were no hooks or rings for towels and no shelf for products in the shower cubicle. The door was impossible if you had slightly greasy hands. There was no mirror in the room just one above the sink in the shower room. A club sandwich took 1 hr and 15 mins to arrive and then was tastless. The breakfasts were boring and the 195euro per head gala dinner was really dull with poor application or imagination.
Wonderful staff
Liked: The hotel is beautiful. The pick up by small boat at the pier was so convenient and refreshing in warm weather. The breakfasts with musicians was so relaxing. Giuseppe at the pool was so helpful to us and our daughter giving her a hand up the stairs. Also a young woman greeted us and helped us to our room

Please note that the private beach is reachable by a funicular railway. Guests have free parasols, towels, and deck chairs at the property's beach.
Although the funicular railway also serves the various levels of the hotel, some areas are accessed via steps.
Please note that for early departures the hotel will charge the whole amount of the original reservation.
Please note that the half board rates do not include drinks. Meals are served at La Serra Restaurant. The Remmese Restaurant and Beach House is open from 15 May, weather permitting.
