Exceptional
Stunning view just not the best experience
Liked: The views were amazing. It’s in town but far enough up you’re away from the hustle and bustle. The bathroom and the shower window were amazing. The staff who made the breakfast and housekeeping were fantastic and very attentive. The gentlemen who worked the afternoons was lovely, greeted us to the apartment and showed us the place.
Disliked: Tiziana who messaged me about arriving said we could leave the bags as we arrived early, come to find out we couldn’t and had to pay €60 for a porter to store them. She greeted us and no sooner had we got out of the car started asking about us booking massages and tours - we had just arrived and it was very hectic. She was not welcoming and we felt like she was just trying to make money from us. Very off-putting. The door didn’t lock- was noted at check in but not addressed. It’s also an apartment - not a hotel. You share a walking space with another unit, it’s private but not what we expected or in the description. Our neighbors were a young couple who blasted music day and night and had no regard for their neighbors. It’s a lot of steps up to the apartment and if you are bringing a lot of luggage be warned. We ended up paying another €60 to have them took to the driver. So add that into your costs.

Liked: Loved the view and location. The view was second to none and the proximity to the main beach was a blessing as Positano is built on stairs
Disliked: We didn’t like the fact that the neighbour next door could walk through our balcony to access their property. Our neighbour was great (and only were there for our last night) however it just change the privacy of the accommodation and for the price, you shouldn’t have to worry about curtains being open or closed

Perfect Location - We will be back!
Liked: The location was unbeatable. Every time we walked to or from, we were grateful for the location. In Positano standards, it was close to the beach and restaurants, without too many stairs to get there (mind you, EVERYWHERE you go in Positano requires walking and stairs! But this location was quiet but still made everything very accessible. The view is amazing! The semi-private terrace was private enough for us. Yes, the guests in the other unit had to occasionally walk through, but it was seldom and didn't bother us at all. Breakfast on the terrace was great! We looked forward to our time out there every day! The service was outstanding, attentive and easy to contact via Whatsapp.
Disliked: Minor complaints- the coffee (cappuccino, americano) with breakfast was terrible. The mattress was not comfortable.
Stunning apartment with great views, large balcony with loungers and outside hot shallow bath. Can recommend!
Liked: The apartment is spacious and has lovely decor. The shower has the best view with a window you will photograph many times! The balcony is big with loungers and a great view of the main beach where breakfast is served in private to you at your leisure every morning-it was truly sublime! The kitchen is big with a good enough small fridge, two plates and a coffee machine that can make cappuccino if you bring coffee powder and milk. The coffee machine tripped the power and ‘outside bath’ had to be fixed but the staff sorted it out quickly. The bath took 3 hours to fix. The outside bath is about 25cm deep and you must lie down; it is not a regular jacuzzi. On our last night we had neighbours in the adjoining apartment who had a fight and left the lights on which rendered our balcony unusable. Prepare for 170 stairs up to car level and 145 down to ferry/beach level where there are fabulous restaurants and great shopping. Pack light or pay porters €15 per bag and parking €60-70. We loved our stay and would come again but better prepared! Positano is out of this world-the beach is not nice though, with black sand and stones so bring swimming shoes. Claudio and Titziana were absolute stars checking in frequently and available on whatsapp immediately.
Disliked: It has a neighboring apartment which infringes on your privacy and we had to walk onto their balcony to exit. We were not told about the stairs (although once you know Positano you’ll understand it comes with the territory!) and we did not pack light. The staff were absolutely great but you need to bring supplies if you don’t want to make multiple trips. There is no microwave. The outside very shallow bath is not a jacuzzi and smelled funky until fixed. The shower floor and other floors are all VERY slippery when wet-be careful!
