Liked: The most attentive and caring hosts you will ever stay with. Gennaro and Emily went above and beyond to ensure we had the best holiday experience in their beautiful part of the world. They provided so much helpful information and arranged car parking, carried our suitcases, booked taxis and boat cruises. Gennaro even took my sister down the hill to Positano on his scooter to ensure she didn’t miss our cruise. There is nothing this wonderful family won’t do to ensure your holiday in Montepertuso in perfect. The recently renovated villa is very well equipped and clean with the most gorgeous views of the coastline and village. Breakfast each morning was a lovely addition with good coffee too. Positano is easily accessed by catching the bus from the village square and also a good grocery store and restaurant in the village. We also did the cooking class with Emily and had a fabulous time. The 4 nights we spent in Montepertuso was the highlight of our 4 weeks in France and Italy.

The best host you will ever have and a very roomy, clean home with an amazing view
Liked: The host was amazing. He welcomed us so warmly and explained everything, gave recommendations and was always willing to help. He is the most amazing host that we have ever had! Genny is truly a gem. He carried our suitcases to the property, alerts offered help and suggestions and brought us a delicious breakfast each morning.
Disliked: Location - far from the heart of Positano. Luckily there was a bus stop close by but it was always packed.
A rare, exceptional, and authentic family-run gem!
Liked: This is a generational family-owned and operated villa just above Positano with breathtaking views. If you are looking for an authentic Italian experience, this is your place! The best part is how this warm and lovely family open their home and hearts to you. They treat you like part of their family. They also run a cooking class on property with heartwarming stories of their nonna’s industriousness and fabulous cooking, with personal touches that we have never experienced before. It is also near the Path of the Gods. It was all a truly extraordinary and memorable stay!
Disliked: Not a dislike but you have to be prepared to walk a lot of stairs and the buses are unreliable. The whole area is built on the side of a mountain. The family does help with your luggage and arranging transportation as needed.

Liked: The villa was beautiful and very spacious. It had amazing views and it was close to a little market and a couple restaurants.
Disliked: There are a lot of steps so just be prepared. Also you might want to take a taxi up to the villa down from the beach as the little train is kind of hard to get on and is very hot and crowded.
