  Otherwise the apartment was lovely and we enjoyed our stay outside of the negligence of the hosting company

  Liked: Once we made the climb, we were rewarded with a beautifully tiled apartment with a terrace and magnificent view. Close to a fruit stand and market so we can cook our own breakfasts.

  Disliked: The communication from the host company was great during the planning stage after we booked our stay, but the day of check in things fell to pieces. Not sure if it’s the host’s or booking.com’s fault, but we never received the email with the check in instructions that gave us the code to get our key. I alerted the host that we never received the email for checkin and she was unresponsive as we were leaving Capri, when we arrived in Positano, when I said we were walking up and when we were at the gate to the property on a very hot day and walking straight up from the port.. about a half hour up many stairs and we were hot and tired. We finally got our instructions after waiting a half hour at the gate, soaked in sweat when someone else from the team finally answered us and gave us the code to access the property and the keys to our room. The checkout time was early.. 10am.. usually 11am is standard. We asked for a later checkout and we were granted a half hour, but the cleaning lady wasn’t told and showed up at 10 anyways

  Worst experience of rental

  Liked: We liked view. Nothing else

  Disliked: Place stinks, and it’s a major issue We stayed at this place for 3 nights, have not slept properly two out of three because of the smell at home. First day we turned on AC and at night left door shade open so air could circulate but it didn’t help. There is no window. Notified owner but they couldn’t help because there was no other room available and reservation was non-refundable. Next day we noticed gigantic rat at the balcony and couldn’t keep door shade open because we were scared of rats. So we breezed that air whole night. We do not recommend this place at all. For this price you can find other places for sure. I can’t say that location is good. It is a hell to go up on hundreds of stairs what makes everything complicated..

  Liked: The view was really nice.

  Disliked: Like a stank smell in the bathroom when we arrived. No kitchen available despite the pictures showed and no connection to a bigger space. Basics available, but very basic. No knives or whatsoever to cut some bread. Shower poor warm water.
