Fabulous
Excellent experience
Liked: The villa was great! Giuseppe was a great host. He helped make arrangements with a driver to pick us up from naples and take us back. He also met us our first day with the keys and made sure we got down to the villa and get settled. He recommended a great restaurant and made reservations for a car. Responded quickly to any issues we might of had which were minimal. Highly recommend
Disliked: Nothing to do with the host or the villa but it was 67 steps up and down just to get to it, which isn't bad except if you are older or have joint issues could be quite cumbersome. Definitely need to rent scooters to get into town or anywhere unless you want to walk 10-20 minutes each time.

Liked: the house was classic italian with some renovations. The view was fanstatic. The air conditioning worked great. Comfortable clean beds and areas
Disliked: It would have been nice to have coffee which we replaced or a regular coffee maker with sugar and cream along with a toaster and iron that worked and ice cube trays. The entrance from road is not marked so if we didn't come in from recommended shuttle not sure how we would of found it. The town is about a 15 min walk and bus can be iffy but bus stop up the stairs and just down the road.

Disliked: Our stay at this villa quickly turned from a dream into a disturbing experience — mainly because of the host’s inappropriate and controlling behavior. From the second day, the host began insisting that we pay an unexpected €500 in cash, claiming we had more guests than allowed — even though our reservation clearly included the correct number, and the total price reflected that. It felt like an invented excuse to charge extra, and the pressure was persistent. Only after we reached out to Booking.com did the situation deescalate — which tells you everything. But the worst part was how the host monitored us throughout the stay. One morning, he was waiting outside the villa at 6 a.m., watching the house. On other days, he sent strangers to the property, supposedly to “check things,” without telling us in advance. It created an atmosphere of constant surveillance and intrusion — we never felt at ease, and it honestly felt creepy. On the practical side: – The shower had no water for over a day, and the host never replied. – The washing machine was broken, and we had no way to do laundry for a week, despite asking. – The bedrooms had a musty smell, and the villa is hard to access via steep stairs with no signage. We’ve traveled extensively and never experienced this level of discomfort, manipulation, and lack of basic hospitality. The view does not compensate for the stress. We would strongly advise Booking to review this listing, and we absolutely do not recommend staying here.

Disliked: LOCATION!! The address is INCORRECT on Booking.com. The host is aware but doesn’t care. Not convenient to anything. Host very rude - getting mad we weren’t there on time even after he knew we went to the address posted on Booking.com. Insulting my friends weight and watching us via camera when we were on a boat cruise. I would NEVER recommend this property. It is spacious with a nice view but in poor repair and isolated. The proper address is 203 Via Gennaro not 123. 😡
Fabulous location, host and magic view
Liked: The location of this Villa accompanied by the friendly, very helpful manner of Guiseppe was outstanding.
Disliked: While extraordinary in it's location, the villa itself requires a little upkeep and maintenance - particularly the bathrooms, drainage and tapware.
Liked: Lovely location and great host.
