Nice view let down by decaying hotel building

Liked: The hotel location is excellent, just a short walk to the waterfront. The swimming pool is very nice. Check-in was easy and the staff very attentive.

Disliked: Part of the hotel charm is its retro design, but it is desperately in need of an update. Electrical wires were exposed in our bathroom, tiles missing or joinery misligned to the point it looked like a hotel referb gone very wrong. For the price we expected a better standard, compared to the other hotels we stayed in Italy for a similar cost.
