Exceptional
The Aurora Hotel is a true Gem! Classic and beautiful. But the entire staff made it so memorable, we will never forge
Liked: Absolutely Everything!! Delfina greeted us upon our arrival and made us feel us so welcome! Maritza, Vincenzo, Alfonso and Claudia made our stay so very special!!! It felt like we stayed with family and we will just never forget them or this truly lovely hotel. The hotel is so charming and well maintained. Breakfast was fabulous, the terraces and patios are just beautiful. Just wonderful! We hated to leave The Aurora Hotel! Recommend to everyone!!

Liked: Loved the location, short walk out of town away from the crowds, but close enough for ferry access and restaurants. Beautiful views of town from room and breakfast. Nice breakfast with a other of variety.

Liked: Delfina and team staff were incredibly helpful, friendly in a relaxed way. Everything was beautifully appointed.
Disliked: There were no beach chairs as it was off season but 80 degrees. However we were surprised the rocks were very okay and the water warm - our first dip in the Mediterranean.
Good location with lots of choice for breakfast
Liked: In quiet location within easy walking distance of the port.
Disliked: Can hear the internal noises of people in their rooms and on terraces around us. Bed uncomfortably hard.

Disliked: Beds could have been more comfortable. Eggs should have been offered at breakfast of customers choice
No value, no amenities, certainly not a 4-star hotel
Disliked: The photo of the pool is misleading. When a hotel displays a pool, the general understanding is that the hotel includes a pool. When we arrived we were told that the “pool” was reserved for only a certain class of rooms. Turns out the so-called “pool” is a tiny jacuzzi. There aren’t basic amenities at this hotel. No one was even able to assist us in getting our bags down the staircases when we left. The nighttime person at the desk said he couldn’t lift bags. We had to drag them all down the staircases ourselves. The return taxi the hotel scheduled to pick us up from a concert in Ravello never showed up. When I reached out to the hotel several times, no one responded for close to one hour. We had to scramble to find a taxi when everyone else leaving the concert needed one too. Despite several conversations with the front desk, no one thought to advise us that taxis cannot pick up from the hotel in the early mornings and can only pick up from the main square, so we were late for our flight, running with our suitcases and bags to meet the driver in the square. And they charge 40 euros for access to a rocky slab of beach.
