Truly Exceptional
Liked: Amazing place and Roberta was exceptional going to great lengths to make our stay comfortable. Also great advice provided on travelling to the town centre and the host helped us arrange transportation to and from Ravello.
Disliked: The climbing, the property is on many levels and quite huge- so exploring it is going to leave your legs tired.
Staying at Villa San Cosma was the most relaxing and rejuvenating destination we experienced while on this trip to Italy
Liked: Peaceful tranquility, with everything one would come to expect in an Italian country side resort. The villas are cut into a Cliffside along with vineyards of grapes, olives, and lemons. The grounds are immaculately kept the rooms are designed with beautiful old world, furnishings, gorgeous, handmade, ceramic tiles in the bathroom. The church bells, and the beautiful view were an added bonus.
Disliked: If you have difficulty ambulating, and cannot do stairs, this property would prove to be Challenging.
Liked: Ok breakfast Nice garden and views.
Disliked: A 20 euros parking fee popped up while not mentioned anywhere on the booking confirmation. The latter mentions the late check in fee,the non inclusion of cooking classes,the non availability of the pool at certain dates and so on but while boasting about a parking it is silent about the 20 euros to be added to an already pricey room.
A magical villa in Ravello
Liked: The apartment was just beautiful with stunning views of the ocean & mountain. Waking up enveloped by the ocean, lush gardens & lemon trees was the magic. The tile work was stunning. The gorgeous ceramics displayed throughout the property were made by the villa owner Carmela who also owns & operates a ceramic shop in town. The staff were so kind & welcoming. Breakfast was great. Roberta was amazing, she provided great information and recommendations during our stay. I can’t say enough about our time here. The town of Ravello is very special and Villa San Cosma was a perfect accommodation.
