Guest reviews
Very good
ceiling far too low, dangerous staircase, broken door
Liked: location was good, possible to walk everywhere and also free parking was available close by
Disliked: An average man, 180 cm tall, cannot fit into the bedroom. A mezzanine level was simply installed in the room to create an upstairs sleeping area, but the ceiling height is far too low! Furthermore, using the stairs from the bedroom down to the bathroom is extremely dangerous. It is very easy to fall down the stairs—especially when you have to carry a suitcase up, as there is absolutely no space for luggage downstairs. When we tried to enter the accommodation, the doorknob suddenly came off in my hand. The hosts accused me of causing this, started a heated argument, and subjected me to a barrage of verbal abuse!
Good location, 7-8 minutes walk to beach. Clean property
Liked: Very clean property, staff is not available in the building but if I need help they reply very quickly.
Disliked: Every thing was good
A proper hidden gem
Liked: Perfect location! The kitchen was so cute and the bathroom was phenomenal!! The shower was really nice and hot. Good pressure too. The bed was super comfy and the air con was good in the heat. Can’t fault it and we are already looking at coming back! The keyless door was a bonus too! We stayed for a week and it was fab.
Disliked: Nothing! This is a gem.
Disappointing
Liked: Clean and tastefully decorated room with comfortable bed and well located. Great shower.
Disliked: Unfortunately the AC didn’t work properly and didn’t cool off the room. It became very hot (though not even summer heat outside) and at night the kitchen window wasn’t enough to allow cool air to come in. The contact person argued they had checked it and that the AC worked correctly.
Not bad
Liked: Not bad looking, clean, good location.
Disliked: Coffee machine with mold (room called maisonette), at this point moka machine could be a solution. There is no place where to put your stuff in the bathroom. There should be at least one shelf so u don’t have to put your things on the toilet or washbasin while showering.
Liked: This is a great B&B to stay at when visiting beautiful Reggio Calabria. It’s perfectly located - just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, town center, and train station, and only 10 minutes’ drive from the airport. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. The room has everything you could need: Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a coffee machine, a large and comfortable bed, wardrobes, and a small balcony. If you need laundry services, there are several good options just a 1–2 minute walk away. The staff is very helpful and responds quickly to any requests you might have.
