Liked: Nothing
Disliked: It was very uncomfortable, the bathroom door did not close properly and looked directly into the kitchen, garbage from the last guest was left behind, and hallway leading into the property had a terrible smell.
Liked: We had a great stay! The beds were very comfortable, there was space for everyone, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. There are quite a few stairs, but that was to be expected in Cinque Terre. There was a fully equipped kitchen. We also really appreciated the clothesline—it was a great touch for drying our bathing suits. Just a note that you’ll need to bring your own toiletries, as there was no body soap or shampoo. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay! Claudia was a great host☺️
Great location. Disappointing responses when issues raised
Liked: Really great location, up a side alley from the main street. Clean. Good instructions to find the property(video). Beside a fab restaurant. Very convenient to access from train station.
Disliked: Disappointing response from the owner/property manager when issues were raised. The TV was initially broken, which was particularly frustrating as we are big soccer fans and my sons wanted to watch the World Cup games. When I raised this, I was told that there were bars nearby with TVs. I explained that I would rather not have to bring my sons to a bar to watch the matches, and the TV was eventually repaired. The air conditioning in the main bedroom was also old and noisy. However, the hot and humid conditions made it difficult to sleep without using it. I contacted the owner to ask for advice on using the night mode or reducing the fan speed, but was simply told not to use it at night. No practical assistance was offered. We followed the property's request to turn off the air conditioning whenever we went out. The main issue was not that problems occurred, but the lack of helpfulness and understanding when they were reported.

Pleasant stay, modern facilities (within the apartment itself) and spacious
Liked: Modern clean facilities. Great location just near main street of Riomaggiore. Host was helpful and sent clear instructions of how to find the property from the train station.
Disliked: There was no iron or ironing board. No full length mirror. Not enough toilet paper supplied (only two rolls for 4 nights). The main/shared stairwell felt old and smelled very damp and musty.
Run dont walk and book a stay at this apartment
Liked: Everything about this apartment met or exceeded expectations. You can live your authentic Italian life for the weekend/stay. Apartment was well appointed, comfy large beds, kitchen facilities and stovetop espresso maker. Shower had amazing water pressure after a long day of hiking. Excellent and clear communication from the host, keys are collected from a key box so arriving late is not an issue.
Disliked: While this was not an issue for our visit there are quite a few stairs to get to the apartment building and the flat is on the second floor, this might be something to consider if you have reduced mobility. Though the area of Cinque Terre itself has a lot of stairs, hills and uneven terrain so you will have this issue everywhere during the visit.
