Fabulous
Liked: It was spacious. The patio out the front was good. Clean and in good working order.
Disliked: The garage was too small and was inaccessible. Access was difficult through a barrier on the street (a huge faff).
Liked: The location and parking are excellent. Quick access to all the squares and steps of Rio Maggiore. Quick elevator access to the train station and the start of the hiking trail. A five-minute walk away there is a site where it is very pleasant to watch the sunset.
Disliked: The room is old. The owners don't bother with renovations. It's understandable. Location makes the business.. The lack of a shower with a flexible hose was disappointing. The terrace didn’t look inviting.
Wonderful town!
Liked: beautiful apartment in beautiful town. The views are wonderful, people there are very nice and accommodating. The staff made the check in process very easy, despite the challenge of bringing a car into town, they made it much easier.
Disliked: I know November is off season, but I thought more restaurants would be open. as such we found only 1 place to eat on our side of Rio Maggiore, and only 2-3 more in the whole town. Very little was open when we visited on a Tuesday evening.
Very nice and stylish apartment
Liked: Very nice, clean and cozy apartment, decorated with style. There is a garage which was really great convenience, because we left the car there for the whole period and travelled between the villages by trains.
Disliked: The pillows were too high and the bed was too soft.
Liked: Good spacious apartment with lots of light. A bit of a climb up the hill to get to it but not a problem if you're reasonably active. Easy walk to shops and dinner options.
Liked: Up from the village, nice and quiet.
Disliked: The two mattresses were not comfortable and were too thin and too soft.
