Exceptional
Good place to stay, close to train/bus station and ferry port
Liked: Clean, well maintained
Disliked: Would’ve been great if I could leave my luggage for the day after checkout
Liked: You get exactly what you pay for. Didn't meet the hosts but we would coordinate smoothly. Very well located near everything including station but still peaceful and safe. PS it is a budget stay so expect things accordingly.
Disliked: Nothing particularly. This place is perfect for someone who uses the room as a safe space or sleeping space. But it's also well located and comfortable. One may complain the drain in the bathroom was not the best. But it's an easy and minor compromise.
It was a good stay for 3 days as it gives access to ferries to Positano and Amalfi
Liked: Close to train station. Nice terrace. Basic breakfast to start the day. Responsive host with good communication. Close to ferry port. Close to tourist part and old town of Salerno
Disliked: Limited space for breakfast. Not much to do in Salerno except for using it as ferry to Positano and Amalfi.
Incredible location and comfort but automoted check in killed the Italian experience
Liked: Great comfortable modern apartment close to the station and ferry to the Amalfi coast. Excellent breakfast at the café next door with amazing fresh pastries and coffee. Good communication and facilities.
Disliked: The reliance on WhatsApp for messages and lack of contact with the owner. Instructions were good for arrival but confusing for the first time and a little strange with a mixture of passcodes for the entrance to multiple apartments which is then replaced by a keycard. While the communication was good it felt unwelcoming and impartial. Technology is not everything. In Italy especially, human contact is highly valued.
Liked: The room was clean. The facilities were great, as well as the location. The host - Ismahel was very kind and hospitable.
Liked: Very friendly and pleasant staff, easy to access, value for the money
