Exceptional
Extremely dissapoiunted with host's attitude
Liked: The room itself was nice and clean.
Disliked: Extremely disappointing experience. I would not recommend this property. The accommodation was extremely noisy, especially at night, due to constant traffic of cars and scooters noise on the nearby mount, continuing almost all night long. I could not get the rest I expected and this seriously affected my stay. I eventually decided to leave the property earlier than planned. The most disappointing part was that the host refused to refund the money for the nights I did not stay. He asked me to find new customers if I wanted to get the refund! I contacted Booking.com and explained the situation, hoping that a fair solution could be found. Unfortunately, the matter still remains unresolved. For me, the way the situation was handled was unacceptable. A host should be willing to find a reasonable solution when a guest leaves early and does not use the remaining nights. Meanwhile he was super rigid, constantly repeating he would not return me the money. It seemed he didn't care about customer's experience at all, but only about the money. Besides of that, the AC was also not functioning properly and making strange noises, which I reported to the host, but only got the answer that AC is functioning. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, both because of the noise and because of the lack of flexibility regarding the unused nights. I would not return to this property and would not recommend it to other travellers.
A pleasant stay in Vietri sul Mare
Liked: Paolo's B&B is near the center of the historic district of Vieni sul Mare. There are several shops and restaurants within a few blocks of his B&B. The rooms are well furnished and have AC, which is important in this region of Italy. His B&B is decorated with several beautiful ceramic items. I communicated with him mostly with WhatsApp, which worked well. Driving in Vietri sul Mare is best described as total chaos. Paola arranged for us to park our cars in a parking lot during our stay. Although the village does not have Uber, the Uber app works by connecting to local taxi services. We used a taxi to travel to and from Salerno. From Salerno, we took a ferry to Positano and back. This gives you a great view of the Amalfi Coast from the sea.

Liked: The apartment is beautiful, clean, well designed and is in excellent location. We arrived earlier to the property and the lovely host let us to do the check in earlier. We can highly recommend the place, we will definitely come back again. Thank you for everything.
