Exceptional
Liked: The location is perfect – halfway between the historic center and the railway station, and just a 5-minute walk from the bus stop to the Amalfi Coast. The port is also within easy walking distance. The room was clean, and the host, Julia, was kind, friendly, and always responsive. Another big plus is the daily room cleaning for longer stays. It is rare to find hosts who take such good care of the accommodation they offer to their guests. Breakfast was traditional Italian style - croissants, coffee, and a some drinks. I highly recommend this place!
Liked: Great location, and the owner was very kind, helpful, and responsive. However, we had a serious issue with insects. We were bitten, and although the room was cleaned after we reported it, we still found biting insects around the kitchen area. Also, on our last morning, we ordered a croissant, but the flavour was different from what we expected. Overall, the location and hospitality were good, but the insect issue needs serious attention.
Enjoyable
Liked: The bed was comfortable and clean, they provided biscuits and a kitchen area to make coffee. The position was a short walk to the water front for a walk and it was close to the mall as well. Wifi was good and easy to connect.
Disliked: The shower had mould around the silicone. Hard to find with bad GPS signal that dropped out
Just perfect stay in Salerno!
Liked: We will always remember our stay in Salerno mostly because of this place. Julia was wonderful! She gave us all the recommendations about the city and always replied quickly whenever we had any questions. The location is excellent, as the port and a bus stop are nearby, making it easy to explore other towns along the coast. The room was always clean, and the morning coffee gave us the perfect start to the day. Thank you!
Disliked: My only remark concerns the shower, as the shower head tended to slip a little, but I believe it’s just a matter of a quick fix:D
