Exceptional
Ok for a basic, cheap stay
Liked: The location was very good, within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and cafes. The bathroom was large and the shower decent.
Disliked: The check-in process was a bit confusing and the remote lock link I received didn't work. There is a shared common area for several apartments and the garbage smell was absolutely awful. It wafted into our room all night. Upon arriving there was also a lot of garbage in the entry, so first impressions weren't great. It was fine for one night.
Disliked: WiFi was very difficult to set up.

Liked: Everything went well! Easy and fast communication with the remote reception.
Disliked: The check-in/first access through the remote reception is no very straightforward. But in the end everything went well.
Liked: The room itself was spacious and quite large, which we appreciated. However, the overall experience with the host was disappointing. The owner was borderline rude, repeatedly sending us the same link in Italian instead of in English as we requested. In the end, we couldn’t even complete the check-in properly because her system was not working, and we had to send our ID documents via photos instead. She was also not very helpful. When we asked if we could leave our luggage somewhere after check-out, she first sent us information about a locker 8 km away, then deleted that message and suggested we use the train station lockers instead. It would have been much more convenient if the hotel simply offered a secure place for guests to leave their luggage before departure. This kind of after-sales support was definitely lacking.
Liked: A huge thank you to the entire team at Calypso Suite Hotel for an excellent stay. The location is absolutely perfect: you can enjoy both the proximity to all the main attractions and the peacefulness needed to truly relax. The rooms were spotless, very well equipped, and had air conditioning — a real comfort and much appreciated during the hot summer days. This made our stay all the more pleasant and restful. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to Tiberio, whose help was invaluable well beyond the stay itself. I had unfortunately left my ring behind in the room, and he immediately took care of organizing its return by courier. Thanks to his efficiency, responsiveness, and kindness, I was able to recover this item, which means a lot to me, without any stress. It is rare to find such professionalism combined with such genuine human care. We highly recommend Calypso Suite Hotel and will return without hesitation!
