Fabulous
A very comfortable stay
Liked: A nicely renovated place with comfy, well-sized rooms. Good, close location to the seaside promenade. All staff were also very friendly.
Disliked: Property had some construction work being undertaken during our stay, but we did not experience any inconvenience from it during our stay.
Perfect place to stay in Salerno
Liked: We especially loved the common living room area. The facilities are top notch. We booked 6 rooms and had a great time.
Beautiful inside, amazing location and comfy room
Liked: The location was perfect, really close to the old town, beach and marina. Great views onto the water. The room itself was nice, pretty large and fairly well appointed. Don't be put off by the scaffolding, it's a shame it's there but it didn't impact our stay. We had a balcony room which was great and was still accessible despite the scaffolding. Once you enter the large apartment where the room is located, you forget about the building work and it's like you're somewhere entirely different, beautifully decorated and well appointed with super helpful staff that are super responsive on Whatsapp.
Disliked: It would have been nice to have a fridge in the room to keep our drinks cold. There was a fridge outside the room that was more used as an honesty bar. I think it was missing quite a few items and had a half eaten tomato in there. Again, not a massive problem and we ended up putting some wine in there to chill.
Liked: Clean, spacious, bright room, close to many shops, restaurants, not far from the train station and from one of the ports. 10-12 minutes from Santa Theresa beach, might be close to the other main beach as well. Huge and stylish common area with albums and books. A kind of "concierge" is sitting downstairs in the historical building during working hours & can help to find your way upstairs. I'm not sure any of the rooms have a real sea view since reconstruction has been going on for years.
Disliked: My room was facing a busy street and it was quite noisy still around midnight ( most rooms face a quiet street, I believe). No fridge, but I did not miss it for one day.
Brilliant apartment in a piece of history right on the sea. Shame about the building works
Liked: The room was lovely and comfortable. The staff were very informative and helpful. This is an amazing piece of history to stay in a building like this.
Disliked: Outside the apartment complex the building is under construction and you have to go through a building site to get to the apartments.
No sea view
Liked: The accommodation was very central and room a good size The host was good with assistance bia WhatsApp
Disliked: I booked a room with a sea view and balcony the whole building was covered in scaffolding and so views were obscured- this was not mentioned beforehand. There was no balcony despite me specifically booking a balcony room and on speaking to the host she said someone else had that room. I especially wanted a view and balcony if they had said we had neither I could have booked a hotel further along the front. My upset is that they were not upfront and offered no solution- the entire building is old and needs renovation and i assume the scaffolding will be there somewhere time so I feel that they should be transparent in the description. I queried with booking.com and they have failed to respond
