Overall good place to have good sleep with simple BF

Liked: Location is very close to train and ferry station. Raffaele, the owner shared all info for travel including restaurants recommendation. For my wife’s birthday He did his best to arrange birthday cake, candle in a very short notice. Very simple BF, served to the room @ 8 am everyday, fresh croissants, bread, biscuit etc which is good. Coffee maker inside room.

Disliked: Coming from very best of Indian and Asian hotels, we expected towels to be changed everyday and bed made, here it’s once in 3 days. Room size is very small compared to many other European hotels with similar price.

For a truly memorable stay in Salerno - great location and rooms with the amazing Raffaele as your host and friend

Liked: The Home to Salerno B&B is an absolute gem. Located right on the Old Town of Salerno it was a 10 minute walk from the train station. We were warmly welcomed by our host Raffaele with a big smile and a big heart. Raffaele’s aim was to ensure you had the best stay possible and he had wonderful suggestions about places to see and restaurants to visit and was always available to help and advise. Our very well appointed room overlooked the beautiful Piazza Gioia Flavio and the Fontana dei Delfini and was both very comfortable and quiet. Each morning we were alerted via Whatsapp that our breakfast had been served, and opened the door to a beautifully laid out trolley with juice, yogurt, cake and fresh warm croissants. It really was our home in Salerno, made possible by Raffaele who puts his heart and soul into taking care of his guests. Raffaele went over and above to ensure I received my mislaid Ipad. Left in a bin at Security in Bari our tour agent managed to locate and arranged delivery by DHL to Salerno. Raffaele organised for it to be delivered to his brothers business then collected it and it was waiting for me when we returned from a day of sightseeing. We cannot recommend Home to Salerno B&B and Raffaele highly enough.

Disliked: Everything was fantastic and we look forward to our next visit. Would not stay anywhere else. The only thing I didn’t like was saying goodbye.

    Fabulous stay, would happily return

Liked: From arrival to leaving we had nothing but fab service from Raffaele, the rooms are superb, comfortable, and have everything you need with some lovely little touches to enhance your stay. Fab location, fab recommendations for places to eat and visit.

Disliked: Room two can get a little noisy at night but to be expected in a city centre location at the weekend. If you’re sensitive to that then take some earplugs.
