  Il Reticolo is a comfortable and welcoming accommodation

  Liked: Giuseppe and Carmine were the perfect hosts. Giuseppe directed us to Salerno’s many sites of interest. If we needed a taxi Giuseppe secured it. Needed an authentic Italian meal? Giuseppe booked our table! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic!

  Disliked: Rooms were comfortable, but basic. We’re stayed for 6 days and found that storage for clothes was tight. Because we were a large group, we would’ve liked a common area to relax and decompress. Our weak Italian skills were put to the test; the host’s English was also weak. But with the help of Google Translate, we survived!

  Highly recommend!

  Liked: Absolutely perfect experience from booking, checking in and leaving. Carmine couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was spotless and perfect for us. Carmine recommended restaurants and was so lovely. The location is perfect, walk five minutes to the sea front. Carmine also organised the parking for us in a car park three minutes away. I would recommend 100%. Grazie mille Carmine. Ci rivediamo.

  Great location, nice room, friendliest staff - perfect place to stay in Salerno

  Liked: The most supportive owner I've ever met in my travels! We were able to check-in early, leave the luggage, have everything as we wanted it to be, and the owner was in touch to support us with everything. Maps and leaflets ready on arrival to have the best of the city. That was wonderful stay, I will try to return to stay there again!

  Great stay in Salerno

  Liked: Staff were kind and quick to respond on WhatsApp. Spacious room and shower. Great location right next to a great gelato store. Very affordable. A real fridge that actually cools and can be used for milk and yoghurts! not just a minibar/icebox. Very clean and tidy.

  Disliked: 2 single beds pushed together instead of a double bed, but it's okay for a short stay. I think the cleaners threw away a plastic bag we had on the table which had some biscuits and teas in it.
