Exceptional
Great location
Liked: The location was the best. The room was comfortable. The host communicated well. The breakfast was great. The room was clean. It was a great place to stay.
Disliked: The only thing that bothered me was, we were only staying two nights so I said a towel change wasn't necessary. Cleaning wasn't done as expected but the cleaning lady still came in our room and collected the tax off the desk. I was surprised she came in, which was fine but if she came in why wouldn't she empty the garbage while she was there.
The perfect place
Liked: Everything was perfect, the room, the breakfast, the host and location.
Disliked: Nothing
Disliked: The voice isolation is terrible, u can’t asleep at night, as the train station is very close. Also the room wasn’t clean enough The door of bathroom is also a bit inconvenient
Great location
Liked: The location was great, walking distance to the ferry port, train station and buses. The room was comfortable, nice to have a terrace. Great WiFi and air-con
Disliked: The breakfast at the cafe nearby only offered sweet items.
If you are staying there during very hot months of the year, be aware that the air-conditioning does not work properly i
Liked: It was very central and in a great position to be able to walk to shops and food and the train station
Disliked: Unfortunately, our air-conditioning wasn’t working properly in the room and people need to know that before they book. We approached the owners about maybe supplying a fan as the air-conditioning was not working and they were completely unhelpful. It wasn’t just us some of the people in the other room, also complained that their Aircon was not working either, and they were also very hot and a matter of fact their adult children who are staying in another room had checked out and gone and checked into another hotel because of that. Also, this is one of those places that they try and do everything by WhatsApp and not actually come and meet you and see you and we also found that the lady at breakfast who also does the cleaning was extremely rude to us. she actually screamed at us because we didn’t use the coffee machine properly, but there was no instructions so no, we did not have a good experience at all.
Liked: Very friendly helpful landlady, good location exactly what I expected and more.
