Liked: The terrace was great, and the location was superb.

Disliked: The apartment is just above a convivence store which is open late and sound traveled up.

Liked: We loved this apartment overlooking the waterfront. It was comfortable, well stocked with everything we needed and close to restaurants and mini marts. We enjoyed sitting out on the terrace in the evening.
Liked: Good location on the seafront, with easy access to the port for trips to other destinations along the Amalfi Coast.
Disliked: There was no communication, regarding the plan for accessing the accommodation, until the day of arrival, we were waiting outside for about 15 minutes in 35 degree heat. This was despite me contacting them 3 times the day before. When we arrived, we were told that the tourist tax was double what was stated on booking.com - 30 euro instead of 15 euro (we appreciate that this was due to a recent change to local authority rules but it should have been communicated to us in advance). When we arrived, we were also told that there was a 40 euro charge for cleaning. This is not mentioned at all on the booking.com listing. So in total we were required to pay 70 euro in cash on arrival. Luckily we had it - not sure what would have happened if we hadn't!! I'm not sure we would have chosen this apartment if we'd known.
