Exceptional
Paola & staff were so beyond friendly & accommodating. Our only complaint was the room
Liked: We really enjoyed the pizza making class, staff and overall hospitality!
Disliked: The bed was very uncomfortable and sheets were not great. They were falling off the bed, didn’t fit the mattress and overall bedding should be upgraded. Floors were a little dusty and towels were also stained upon arrival.
Bright, clean accomadations and lovely property
Liked: The property was quiet. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The apartment was bright and clean. It also had everything we needed. There was a great view as well. The food at their restaurant was outstanding and the service was top notch.
Disliked: It was very spread out. Difficult to walk as it is very hilly. They offered a car service on property to take you from your accommodations to the pool or restaurant. Additionally the car service will take you into town as well. A personal car would be a better option.
Great value, great location, amazing host
Liked: Amazing host, easy access into property, beautiful clean apartment. Strategic location if you want to visit East side of Amalfi but you must have a car to really enjoy it here. Lovely view, enough space, well equipped kitchen. Pool is absolutely amazing and makes this property great value. Oasis bar by pool is lovely and the staff there makes the experience amazing. Kitchen is well equipped and we cooked several times. We recommend spending hot hours by the pool and then driving to cities nearby. Felix beach club nearby is amazing and you can do Buffala tour / tasting in the area. Paula our host was amazing she found trips and also a full day private bout tour at a great price which we really enjoyed. She really supercharges this booking with her presence and tips.
Disliked: The pool is quite far from the property which is not a problem if you have a car or don't mind the steep hill but something to consider. It can get a little busy too but often we had it to ourselves which was amazing. Small detail but the kitchen needs a better chopping board maybe two!
Liked: Beautiful property and interiors. Very helpful and friendly host. Also the kind lady who works at the pool was so lovely and made our children feel very welcome. The view from the room and oasis pool is very beautiful.
Disliked: Be aware if traveling with small children that the balconies are high which you cant really see in the pictures and the pool is set back quite far from the top building of apartments and is a bit of a walk. Also 4pm is quite late in the day for check in, most of the day has already passed by this time so you are not getting much time to relax once you check in, 2pm would be more reasonable.
Beautiful service and scenery
Liked: Beautiful scenery. Well kept and immaculate apartment. All staff were incredible but particularly Paola who was attentive, full of information and recommendations of the local area. We will be back. Excellent service and accommodation. Thank you team Tenuta Dei Normanni!
Enjoyable break in the hills
Liked: The apartment was clean and comfortable, most of the food especially the tomato based dishes in the restaurant were excellent, the pool was relaxing and the scenery was stunning. The staff were very helpful and friendly
Disliked: We didn’t know about the hill to and from the apartment to the pool and restaurant. The rules were a bit much, maybe recommendations rather than rules it doesn’t set a good tone. Definitely need mosquito repellent
