Exceptional
Good location, clean property but need an earplug to sleep
Liked: Great location and clean property.
Disliked: At night lots of noises from outside as it is in the town center near the main high-street and bar/restaurant area. Definitely need an earplug for a good night sleep.
Great location, disappointing experience
Liked: The location is excellent and is by far the best aspect of this property. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience did not live up to the very high rating shown on Booking.com.
Disliked: The most disappointing issue was cleanliness. The bathroom bin had not been emptied before our arrival and still contained waste from previous guests, including a used sanitary pad. We also experienced an unnecessary problem with the city tax. Although the booking confirmation stated that card payments were accepted, the owner insisted that the €6 city tax had to be paid in cash and left in the room. No receipt or proof of payment has been provided so far. I had to withdraw money from an ATM, paid the ATM fee, and obtain change elsewhere buying something, despite offering to pay by bank transfer. What made the situation even more confusing was that, after insisting that the tax had to be paid in cash, the owner later offered to pay it herself if I could not obtain the money. However, I still wanted to pay the tax myself, as I understood it to be a municipal tax for which I was responsible as a guest. This left me uncertain about how the tax would be handled in situations where guests genuinely have no cash available. The room is okay but sound insulation was very poor, and noise from other rooms, the corridor and the entrance bell was clearly audible. The breakfast also is ok but not great considering the high rating. In addition, the entrance in the building could be in a better condition, and the elevator very small if you travel with luggage. Overall, apart from the excellent location, the accommodation did not meet our expectations and did not justify its current rating.
Liked: This B&B really had everything. The staff made everything possible to accommodate us and make us feel at home. The room was extra clean because the personnel comes and cleans it everyday. They ask you if you need any more toiletries, change the bedsheets and also the towels on demand. Service was also excellent as they always leave at your disposal, free of charge, little snacks for you to enjoy and 2 bottles of water in the mini fridge. Location is also perfect if you want to be close to the beach but also in the center without having to climb steep streets! It definitely made our stay more relaxing and will definitely book it again when we come back. Grazie di tutto e ci rivediamo!

Misleading advertisement with no actual breakfast included, not a hotel, more of an Airbnb
Liked: Good location, about 4 blocks from train station. Only a few blocks from ferry pier to Amalfi, etc. Clean room. Nice
Disliked: Advertised with breakfast included, and then found it was bad tasting packaged cereal bars and packaged muffins, and some coffee pods. No actual breakfast. Bait and switch. Tiny elevator can hardly fit 2 people with suitcases; very tight. Apartment on 4 floor and it was pitch dark without lights in the stairwell area. Also, not an actual hotel. More of an apartment with a living room as a common space and split into a few rooms. Shower doors not secure and space very small. Extra sleeper bed was broken/slumping, so your legs feel like they were dangling.
A relaxing and enjoyable stay in a quite, well located area
Liked: This accommodation is ideally located and offers excellent convenience for guests. The beach is within easy walking distance, making it perfect for relaxing seaside days. It is also situated right next to the train station, providing easy access to nearby attractions and surrounding areas. Several restaurants are located close by, offering a variety of dining options. The area features a selection of local shops, making it convenient for shopping and everyday necessities. One of the highlights of this location is its peaceful and quiet atmosphere, which creates a relaxing environment away from the crowds. It is particularly well suited for couples looking to enjoy quality time together in a calm and comfortable setting.
