  Great location and view from our room. Quite good value given size of room. Customer service is very arms length

  Liked: Fabulous location in the centre of the village with wonderful view of the water. Tasteful antique furniture and high ceiling in our room.

  Disliked: Whilst our host communicated well via WhatsApp, we never met. A nice young man showed us to our room on arrival but didn’t reappear. It was more of a rented room rather than a guest house. Breakfast was provided via vouchers for a local cafe, for a coffee and a croissant- it would have been nice to have a communal area to sit out and enjoy breakfast.

  Liked: Location was excellent: a short walk from the port, near the public bus stop and main street of cafes, restaurants and pottery shops. The bed was really comfortable and the room was beautifully furnished. We were greeted on arrival, allowed a late check-out to correspond with our ferry time and when a problem developed with the water supply, the owners set to work immediately to fix it.

  Disliked: Would have like a kettle to make hot drinks, rather than just the coffee pod machine, but otherwise... nothing to dislike!

  My stay felt less like a hotel experience and more like a punishment — uncomfortable, poorly designed, and downright mis

  Liked: Nothing. I didn’t like it at all — the bedroom was so bad that I had to move to another property, and on top of that, I was charged extra for the so-called “upgrade”

  Disliked: A complete disaster – avoid at all costs. Calling this a “room” is generous. The so-called bed was nothing but a plank of wood with a piece of foam — not a mattress, not even close. Right next to it, a noisy minibar hummed all night like a broken fridge until I finally had to unplug it. On the other side, the only socket was taken by the lamp, so to charge my phone I had to sit in the dark. The “bathroom”? A joke. It was crammed into what looked like a wardrobe, less than half a meter from the bed. The door was a cheap pine panel that didn’t even close, so forget privacy. Inside, no window, no ventilation, just a dead fan that did nothing but hang on the wall. Storage? None. Just a sad rack with hangers dangling. To top it off, climbing into bed required stairs designed by someone who clearly hates humans — every time you had to duck or risk smashing your head into the ceiling.

  Exceptional

  Liked: The rooms are comfortable and super Italian cute style, near to the port, to the center and to the sea, the staff is really amazing, they have the best energy and they recommend you and guide you to the best places and restaurants in the island, everything is perfect, easy and clean.
