  Magical

  Liked: The staff is very nice and try to accommodate you with everything. The place is clean with beautiful smell. Even better than I expected from the pictures. I arrived late at night and the hotel was well lit up with beautiful lights like Christmas which make it magical. A few people mentioned the road next to the hotel but it does not bother me at all as it was hidden among trees. I can see the road even from the bed room but look at the view from our room window in the picture attached. It was very pretty in the morning. When you drive out and look back at the hotel from afar the place was one of the prettiest building on beautiful landscape we see among many beautiful ones around the area.

  Disliked: Quite a lot of stairs. You may need to ask the hotel which room to book if you have trouble claiming up stairs. I see there are rooms on the ground floor as well.

  This is a great boutique 4 star hotel, but definitely not a 5 star

  Liked: Great location, very convenient to be a stop between Roma and Florence. Good breakfast, not tasting excellent but everything looks like from local farm.

  Disliked: 1, service, not feel welcomed during check-in. 2, almost everything inside the room looks torn.

  Old hotel in poor location next to a main road, nice staff but no where near 5* hard product

  Liked: Nice staff, food and drinks was good

  Disliked: The property is directly next to a busy road, which can be heard from rooms and outside. The view is nice but with a busy road directly in front of hotel, check google maps view for accuracy here It felt like an early 2000s 5* quality, but standards have moved up and this is not a 5* property anymore in my view. Furniture is tired (not aged in a good way), amenities are poor and outdoor poor area was in need of refurb. Just no additional thought put into service or hard product. I think it’s a 4* on a good day due to nice staff but the hotel can’t justify 5* rating. The spa is a bit of a joke relative to other 5* properties and the dining experience was fine but nothing memorable.

  Liked: Perfect in every way, beutuful views (especially for sunsets), great spa, amazing staff. the bar restaurant is great and pastoral and the breakfast was perfect. historic and comgortable at the same time

  Great place to stay!

  Liked: Great staff, always helpful. Fantastic breakfast every morning. Nice sunsets in evening. 20 minute drive to all other towns.

  Disliked: Pool was a bit cold. A few bugs in the evening.
