Fabulous
Fabulous location with warm and helpful host
Liked: Location was fabulous. Angela was extremely helpful. Lift always a bonus with luggage. Fabulous breakfast. Great air con. Parking easy and close. Not expensive.
Disliked: The bed was comfy but very squeaky. Some new pillows wouldn’t go astray.
Liked: The owners were extremely kind and helpful, they made everything very easy. The room had plenty of space and the bed was super comfortable. Would totally recommend staying here.
Disliked: The only thing is that the room was very hot, the air conditioning was not powerful enough to cool it down in under a few hours.
Charming Traditional Stay in the Heart of Sciacca
Liked: This is a lovely, traditional accommodation located right in the centre of Sciacca. It is spotlessly clean and within easy walking distance of a great selection of shops, cafés and restaurants. The breakfast is very enjoyable and includes a range of delicious local specialities, providing a flavour of Sicilian hospitality. The host is exceptionally helpful, welcoming and always happy to provide information and recommendations to help guests make the most of their stay. Overall, this is an excellent place to stay for anyone looking to experience the charm and atmosphere of Sciacca.
Disliked: As clearly stated in the property description, there is no parking available at the accommodation itself. However, it is possible to stop briefly to unload your luggage before using one of the nearby public parking areas. It is also worth noting that check-in begins at 4:00 pm, and there is normally no staff present at the property before that time. Having said that, our host was incredibly kind and came to welcome us when we arrived earlier than expected. If you anticipate arriving before the official check-in time, I would recommend contacting the host in advance, as they may be able to assist depending on their availability.
Liked: The owner/hosts Angela and Felice are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful; they are there every day happy to answer any questions or help you find you way. Also the location is excellent - about 1 minute walk to the main square, near shopping, restaurants, transportation, historical monuments, etc... couldn't be located better.
Disliked: The shower stall can use an upgrade, but it works just fine - plenty of hot water.
