Fabulous
Location good but sometimes noisy
Liked: The room was clean with a satisfactory shower and gas cooker Luigi was helpful as I arrived late from Palermo.
Disliked: The location was on the ground floor with a small road next to the bedroom window. Very noisy Friday and Saturday evening with scooters racing up and down Vicolo di Marinai. Avoid trying to drive down this road as it is extremely narrow with little parking or space to turn. Impossible to have any windows or blinds open due to lack of privacy. No seating like a sofa to relax and found a saucepan in the kitchen drawer that had not been cleaned after use.
Affordable
Liked: The location was great and the property was adequately equipped to use and to cook, ironing board appreciated. Nice touches like water and some snacks too. Really easy entry and exit, helpful and responsive host
Disliked: It was also a bit damp which gave the place an unpleasant feel and smell. It advertised 2 beds although I wouldn’t count the second bed as a bed, just about something to sit on. The pictures didn’t quite match the flat I stayed in
Liked: The location has an ocean view. the place was very nice and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay here.
Disliked: Everything was good.

Disliked: Absolutely terrible phone signal even with I TIM service, and no actual WiFi to help.

Dog friendly ground floor apartment with obliging host
Liked: The apartment is in the historical centre of Sciacca. The bed and shower are very comfortable. The view of the port from the front door is lovely. Our host was very obliging given we arrived one day early and this was no problem for him; he made us very welcome. Our host owns Bar Charlie and we received a free breakfast there and watched the hustle and bustle of the port.
Disliked: The apartment is quite small and would only suit two people. The parking is an issue. Unless you have a very small car, under no circumstances should you attempt to enter the area through the arch way. You will get stuck - as we did and almost damaged our car! The parking you can use is on the main street below the apartment requiring you to walk up about 70 steps.
