Fabulous
Comfortable hotel in charming town
Liked: Comfortable room with tables, chairs and desk. Balcony overlooking the street and sea view. Lift to the upper floors. Helpful receptionist. Breakfast good but not plentiful. Scilla is a lovely town, well worth visiting, and has a good one-way system so driving through narrow streets is much easier than some Italian villages.
Disliked: The shower room could do with a facelift. The hotel is in the upper section of Scilla, so a lot of steps up and down to the beach area and the fishing village. Off season parking and reparking isn’t a problem, but in the summer I should imagine it would be.
Lovely hotel but terrible breakfast staff
Liked: Reception staff were kind, lovely and really helpful. We parked our bicycles in the garage under the hotel. Lively bar next door. Wonderful restaurants in Scilla. Room was delightful - brilliant balcony overlooking Sicily in the distance.
Disliked: I read other reviews of the woman running breakfast and can confirm that she is as dreadful as others have written. She is the female equivalent of Basil Fawlty. She may be the owner (i am not sure) but even so, there is no place for this rude behaviour.

Good stay. Somewhat difficult for knee mobility issue. There is an elevator but several steps still necessary
Liked: Great view, comfortable bed, nice breakfast
Disliked: Somewhat difficult for anyone with mobility issues.
Liked: We stayed in a newly updated room which was modern and clean.
Disliked: Ventilator in the bathroom created some strange noise when turned off, might have been due to strong winds. Missed rubbish bin in the room.
Charming Boutique Hotel in Scilla
Liked: Good location with street parking nearby as well as underground parking for a fee. Large room with a large terrace. Elevator from parking garage was convenient. Excellent front desk assistance with the area and how to reach sites easily. We arrived a we bit early, but were still accommodated for an early check in. Small fridge in room (freezer could use de-frosting).
Disliked: Breakfast was okay. It is listed as starting at 7:30, but they were just setting it up then. The breakfast is on the 2nd floor terrace which is lovely except the flies were relentless. Door to bathroom was noisy beyond belief - awakened spouse during night. Room was not soundproof - noise from outside was noticeable.
