  Liked: It is a very spacious appartement with a nice terrace with partial view to the sea and the small town Stintino. We were 4 people and the 2 bedrooms/ 2 bathrooms were perfect for us (without having to sacrifice the living room as sleeping area). Marco (from the administration) was very, very, friendly and guided us over video call to the right entrance and explained everything. The appartement was very well equipped and had amazingly lots of stuff for a rental! Even coffee capsules and pastries. We were only a couple of days there but I could imagine coming back and spending a longer time. I think the owner lives at the property since he showed up at our arrival to check up on us and introduced himself but otherwise he was very discreet and we didn't see him anymore.

  Disliked: The only thing which I didn't like, was the lighting. Almost in all the house (besides a beautiful wooden table lamp in the living room and one at one bedroom) you had energy saving lights with a "cold white light" which I personally do not like (for me, it takes away the "coziness" of the place and reminds me of industrial neons). Otherwise, we really liked the appartement and felt very comfortable there.

  We enjoyed our four nights at Lampara

  Liked: The location in the small town of Stintino with lovely views over the port and sea from the garden. The property was spacious, bright, clean and comfortable. Easy walking distance to very good local restaurants. Parking space behind the property. Very welcoming owner who gave us a delicious homemade cake and bottle of wine.

  Disliked: We found it difficult to find the property as the number on the gate in the village did not correspond to that of the address given and our satnav didn’t pick up the location of the main entrance. Directions in English would be helpful. (Italian) adaptors for appliances such as the toaster, hair dryers were needed. It would be helpful to have a house book (in English) with local information ie. places to visit, restaurants, local facilities etc.

  Prime location spacious apartment

  Liked: Location cannot get better, it's really in the very center of Stintino with its own private parking space, you don't have to worry about parking whatsoever, it's about 8 mins drive to La Perosa beach. There's a public parking at the harbour area, if you set the navigation to that parking you can easily reach to the back of the house. With the actual address, google won't direct you to the right path (google doesn't work very well in many parts of Italy), you just need to meet the owner for once and then you will get it. It's a very spacious apartment with big terrace. Walking distance to the harbour where you go for boat trips. Tips: Book your access to the beach at least 2 weeks in advance during peak season. Book the restaurants in Stintino well in advance too because they tend to be fully booked. You can still go at 9:30pm to wait for the second turn of the table though. I tried a few restaurants they were all pretty good. To go the beach you need the bamboo sheets (it's a specific La Perosa rule) which you will find in the apartment, I only found out about them the last day. The owners don't speak English but the main contact Marco respond promptly over whatsapp.

  Disliked: The property would be even nicer with some modernization (kitchen, bathroom and mattress) and clients will feel money well spent even during high price peak season. The water pressure is small basically you can't really use 2 bathrooms together or use water in the kitchen when someone is showering (understand water scarcity on the island, but it's also a very good apartment at prime location deserves to be renovated). Some party/singing right down at the harbour till 1am, as long as you are not sleeping in the living room you should be fine as the bedrooms facing the other direction.
