  Great stay in a Grand Hotel

  Liked: Spectacular views, location was perfect, quiet, decor was typically Sicilian. Loved our stay, just be aware of the walk into Taormina, roughly 5 to 10 minutes involving steps. Would definitely stay here again.

  Disliked: Should have stayed longer.

  Excellent stay and would not hesitate to recommend. Good Value for money.. Good

  Liked: Location excellent with spectacular views. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Decor is dated but well maintained and very clean.

  Disliked: Bar snacks and opening hours could be improved.

  An exceptional place to stay

  Liked: Exceptional breakfasts. A beautiful view of the sea from our balcony and of Mount Etna. Excellent staff. Lovely lounge. Delicious bar snacks. Short walk to all the sights of Taormina.

  Enjoyed our stay, restaurant staff especially were great!!

  Liked: The hotel was ex but at our arrival we were given a room at the lower level, nearly 2 stores down. Whilst it was facing the sea, the room was not good at all. There were three rooms there in a row and then further below some more rooms. After seeing the Erin we asked for a change which was done. The fact that they gave it’s that room is the problem in giggling seeing our age and the number of stairs we would have to ascend and descend!

  Disliked: The hotel was very good, good location, especially suited us because of the wedding venue we were attending was close by. The staff form the restaurant was excellent! We were disappointed at the room we were priced at our arrival. Many floors dons and many of which had no lift acces - knowing our age they should’ve been more considerate given there were better rooms that we paid for.

  Excellent

  Liked: Beautiful setting Waiters were wonderful Room was clean Close to the historic center Grounds were beautiful w view of Mediterranean sea

  Disliked: I thought better communication when we went to opera regarding a cab to take us home. We were not told to walk towards central area. We did not know the cab driver that picked us up late at night. It was a scary experience even though we understand crime is low but overall a beautiful place to stay. Not a full size restaurant but menu was very good Wait it’s were outstanding

  The hotel Soggiorno has the best breakfast view on Taoromina

  Liked: The view, the location, the staff and the outstanding breakfast! Our bedroom was big high ceilings and comfortable beds.

  Disliked: The hotel decor was quite different I liked it - quirky but not everyone’s cup of tea! There should be a label next to fridge with drinks tariff. Also a wider range of teas such as camomile in the room would have been greatly appreciated.
