  Charming well run hotel offering excellent breakfast and on-site restaurant close to the centre of Centro storico

  Liked: The property was well located close to the old town. Charming rooms and well appointed. The staff were very helpful and the restaurant at the hotel very popular and excellent. Breakfasts were exceptional with lots of high quality menus options and great espresso coffee.

  Disliked: The hotel is an old building and rooms accessed by tight stairs so a little difficult to wrestle suitcases up to your room. It is located on a busy enough road but with direct access to the centre of Centro storico!

  Pleasant stay. Not a hotel!

  Liked: The location was excellent. The property is very old but beautifully kept and the shabby/chic interior design was most appealing. It was quiet and very clean.

  Disliked: Our room was on the top floor, but we weren't informed of the 54 stone steps to get there. It being an old historic property, there was no lift. This didn't bother us, but this aspect shold be mentioned in the information given. The property is not a hotel as such. We arrived on Wednesday afternoon and that day the restaurant was closed. There was no reception area and no communal space where one could sit and have a drink or chat. Access information was given via Whatsapp. The room had no tea/coffee making facilities and as the retaurant downstairs was closed, one couldn't get ice, either. The property is primarily a well-known restaurant with rooms that offer accommodation. Our room had a rain shower which was rather ineffectual. However, there was a hand shower.

  Wonderful week in Trapani

  Liked: Literally everything! This was our third stay at Dimora Botteghelle, and it keeps getting better. The location is great, the facilities amazing, and the decor and style wonderful. Sara and the rest of the staff were fantastic.

  Disliked: Nothing to complain about - if anything, just a small suggestion to add a bit more variety to the breakfast options.

  A perfect base for exploring Trapani, with exceptional hospitality, fantastic food and a wonderful team

  Liked: We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly. Everything was immaculately clean, and as I was celebrating my birthday, we were greeted with a lovely welcome gift which made our stay feel extra special. Sara was incredibly warm, friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us throughout our stay. The location is perfect for exploring Trapani’s beautiful old town and is just a short walk from the ferry terminal, making it ideal for a day trip to Favignana. We also ate in the restaurant on our final evening and both the food and wine were exceptional. Sara’s wine recommendations were spot on and really made the meal memorable. We will definitely be back!

  Disliked: Nothing at all. Everything exceeded our expectations.

  An exquisite Sicilian experience

  Liked: What a fantastic place to spend a few days! In the heart of the old town, near the beach. Wonderfully curated interiors, impeccably clean. As for the food - we couldn't be happier with the breakfast, the evening specials or the wine list. A truly exquisite Sicilian experience. Last but not least, a very special thank you to Sara whose kindness and helpful knowledge has made our stay a dream.
