  Lovely stay and good value for the location

  Liked: The location is great, so close to the beach, you can walk to everything and the pool area is well staffed and looked after. The balcony’s are lovely in the apartment, 2 toilets helpful and has most of what you need.

  Disliked: Could do with a small electric hoover to pick up sand as very hard to sweep up.

  Nice sunsets but pool was not in use so very disappointed, quite far from Trapani centre

  Liked: The property was opposite the beach so had good views of the sunset, however it was not walkable to Trapani centre and the streets nearby were filled with rubbish.

  Disliked: The pool had no water in for our entire stay despite being advertised as being available for use. This was very disappointing especially as this was the reason for booking this apartment. The fridge didn’t work properly and we had to keep throwing food away. The air con tripped out if you had it on in the bedrooms and living room. The oven also blew the power. The beds were ok - very basic. No instructions for washing machine which was held together with a screw on the door. The nearby clubs and restaurants were very noisy and went on past midnight. The apartment wasn’t walking distance to Trapani centre so we spent a lot on Ubers as the buses were very infrequent. We had a bit of trouble finding the key to get access to the property on arrival which was a bit stressful.

  Exceptional

  Liked: I was here with family (2 adults + 2 kids). We enjoyed the stay in this spacious apartment with 2 terraces with amazing view. Kids loved the pool. Great bakery, grocery shop, beach bars near by.

  Disliked: No internet connection as mentioned in the description.

  Apartment close to the excellent beach

  Liked: Apartment is good equipped, we had all necessary for comfortable staying. Air conditioners were working as necessary. Apartment is close to excellent beach with all necessary.

  Disliked: It is difficult to understand how use washing machine, what program is necessary to use. Around the streets area full of rubbish, but this fact is not dependents on apartment owner.

  Great view….. not sure it’s worth the money

  Liked: Location to beach, bakery, local store was great. The view from 3rd floor of beach, sunset and strip was as good as it gets. The ability to have a simple food from trucks on the street was also practical. Surprisingly it was not loud which I was thankful for. I was also happy about the free private parking located on site. But opening the gate with electric problems was not simply.

  Disliked: 2000.00 € for 8/9 nights and have a bed that was that hard was very bad. It should have been WAY more comfortable. Hardest bed I have slept on in my life. A/C went out, being on 3rd-top floor did not take long for apartment to heat up fast. The host was not that attentive to help but eventually did. I also contacted booking because that was unacceptable. Very poor draining in shower, had to stop showering every 2 minutes to let rising water go down. 6/ hours the water and electricity was off? Not a convenience. If you run too many things the circuit will break and you have to go down stairs and flip the switch. Door broke…. could not take key out???? Wtf? Got no help from host when I showed him a video. So all and all there was always something to think about what would come next.

  Sicily needs to get its act together

  Liked: The apartment is nice enough, well specced and a nice view of the seafront. There are some nice restaurants nearby, and the beach is okay. Its the kind of place you need to have rented a car, and if so then you can visit lots of places nearby.

  Disliked: However, and what cannot be helped by the owner, is the depressingly filthy streets nearby. As soon as you explore the nearby neighbourhood, or walk into Trapani, you'll feel like you have been transported to the developing world, and not a nation that is the 9th largest economy in the world. If you stick to the apartment block, the beach, some of the restaurants nearby I'm sure you will be fine, but unfortunately I cannot see myself ever going back to Sicily again.
