  loved my stay in Tropea. Room was very central and comfortable

  Liked: Breakfast not included but nice bar outside across piazza

  Disliked: Fridge would switch off when you took key out of room. Hard to keep drinks cold during the day

  Decent property in a great location

  Liked: Great location in the heart of Tropea. The room we had on the ground floor included a terrace which we utilized quite a few times during our weeklong stay. Considering the location, the soundproofing was pretty good even though you could still hear trucks in the morning collecting glass bottles. The welcome drink at Deodato was a nice touch. The owner was generally pretty responsive. We had a few issues we needed addressed and he was able to help us with them.

  Disliked: The lack of breakfast option was the biggest downside. If the property is going to market itself as a B&B there should at least be a breakfast option, even if it is paid. The owners clearly have some sort of arrangement/partnership with a local restaurant (that's where we had to pick up the keys), so it shouldn't be difficult to arrange a breakfast option there. Furthermore, there was no coffee/tea or mugs in the room even though there was a kettle.
