  Liked: The apartment is quite spacious and very well located, close to both the train station and the city center, which made getting around very easy. It had everything we needed for our stay, making it comfortable and convenient. The host was very kind and welcoming, and although there was a language barrier, she did her best to communicate and make us feel at ease.

  Disliked: We were asked to pay an additional stay fee that we had not been informed about in advance, which was a bit unpleasant.

  We had a wonderful stay! We were too early to swim, which was unfortunate. Beaches are gorgeous!

  Liked: The apartment was very nice, comfortable, washer, very nice kitchen, the view of Stromboli, was outstanding!! Bed was very comfy, washing machine was nice. Shower and bathroom was nice. We appreciated having a table and comfortable couch. The location is great! The train station is only a 15 minute walk which was nice..

  Disliked: 74 stairs to get into the room. No lift. If you have mobility issues or are out of shape this wouldn't be the place for you, but the view was worth it to us. We are in our 70's. The water went off as well as the power one night, but she told us how to remedy this. They could have left basic kitchen supplies such as salt, pepper, olive oil, and a cutting board. Bring your own shampoo and bath soap as none is provided. Not a big deal.

  Fantastic location right in the Historic area of Tropea. We could walk everywhere beach below

  Liked: Also fantastic view to tge sea and Vulcano Stromboli from our 4th floor apartment. We had no problem walking the steps

  Liked: It is central and shopping for groceries and essentials was convenient.

  Disliked: Climbing 75 stairs to get to the studio was very difficult especially with suitcases. Was very unhappy about not being informed of the climb by the owner in the write up.We are in our seventies with hip and knee issues. So anyone at this stage in life should really research and ask questions of the owner to find out the exact location of the rental!!The kitchen was well stacked with new pots and pans of various sizes. The stove was very tricky and didn’t function so we had to get the owner to come and show us how it worked. Only one element worked and it took forever to make a full meal. The owner should have explained everything ahead of time. Thus saving me the frustration and extra time to make a meal. Inspite of the inconvenience the owner was available for any other issues we encountered. The shower needs to have a shampoo and soap plate installed so you don’t have to bend down to pick these up. More towel racks/ or hooks also need to be installed for your convenience. Poorly designed.
